Newgrange Malahide & Howth

Newgrange Malahide & Howth Tour Itinerary

Departing your hotel you will be transferred directly to Newgrange (www.newgrange.com) as this is one of the most visted sites in Ireland. It is essential to be there early to gain admission on the next available tour. Your admission includes access to the interpretive centre, a private bus drive out to the tomb and guide. This megalithic passage tomb dates back to 3200 BC. According to Celtic lore, the legendary Kings of Tara were buried here.

After the tour has finished you will travel to the fishing village of Howth (www.dublintourist.com/towns/howth/). Here you will have a choice of the many sea food restaurants for lunch. Travel to the Summit for a spectacular view of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains- weather permitting of course! We travel towards the city into Malahide to visit Malahide Castle (www.malahidecastle.com). The tour of the castle and gardens takes approx 35 mins, after which you will continue your journey back towards the city with some sights of the city and returning you to your hotel.

This tour takes approximately 6/8 hours.
