Wicklow Tour Itinerary

Your driver will meet you and from here you will travel the coast road taking in Dublin 4 and the famous Embassy buildings (Aylesbury Rd.)

From here you will travel south through the village of Dalkey if you chose you can visit Dalkey Castle no booking is required.   Moving onto the Vico Road with spectacular views of Dalkey Bay and Dalkey Island there will be stops here for photo opportunities.

Continuing your drive to the picturesque village of Enniskerry here you will visit Powerscourt House & Gardens.  Also a lovely Avoca Handweavers store and Café that looks over the gardens for some light refreshments.

Over the Sally Gap (National Park) this is where movies such as Braveheart, P.S. I Love you and The Vikings have all been filmed.  This then brings you to Glendalough which is a 6th century monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin and means the Valley of the two lakes.  You can visit the Glendalough Visitor Centre which will give you all the history and from here you can take a lovely walk or drive to the top lake.  The views are beautiful.

You can stop for lunch in the lovely family run Wicklow Heather which is located in Laragh and stop in the famous Johnny Foxes for an Irish coffee on your return to Dublin.  Or if you chose you can have lunch in Foxes – famous for it’s fish dishes.
